A few weeks back, I was fortunate to attend an exclusive preview cocktail party at the Ryland Inn! Horses, hounds, horns, bands, fireworks, and fabulous people flooded the fabled Whitehouse Station restaurant.
Guests were welcomed into the kitchen of Executive Chef Anthony Bucco, who happened to be chatting with Ninety Acres Chef, David Felton. In the restaurant, owners Frank and Jeanne Cretella, of Landmark Hospitality, were gracious hosts, as press, industry folk, restauranteurs, and more chefs, like Dennis Foy, James Laird, David Drake, Ryan DePersio, and Mitchell Altholz mingled about. I also got to visit the on-site bakehouse, where fresh foccacia with Concord Grapes were waiting to be baked.
The Ryland Inn is now accepting Preview Dinner Reservations from Tuesday through Saturday beginining at five o'clock pm. Twenty percent of the dinner check will be donated to "Riding With Heart," an organization that provides equine activity and therapy to emotionally, physically, and developmentally challenged adults and children.
