This just in:  Brick Lane Curry House will be officially opening another location in Ridgewood this Saturday (11/19)!

Located close to the Ridgewood Train station, in the heart of downtown Ridgewood, the new Brick Lane is housed in  the former Radicchio Italian Restaurant space at 34 Franklin Ave.,
Ridgewood

Brick Lane Ridgewood will be quite a bit larger than our beloved Montclair location, with 96 seats and an additional private room for parties up to 24 people.

The renown, gas-mask-wearing Chef, Karthik Kumar, has temporarily moved from the Montclair location and  will oversee the Ridgewood location. Kunal Shah, who has worked for the past two years at the Brick Lane in downtown NYC, will be the manager.
The decor (pictured) will be exactly the same as the Montclair location;  warm turmeric walls, soft lighting, colanders, and dark wood.

The official Brick Lane opening is on Saturday, but they are currently open for patrons.

In other related Montclair to Ridgewood news, word is that Montclair's extremely popular Raymond's plans to open a new location in Ridgewood as well.

Sources say Raymond's, which began construction work a few weeks ago after receiving the requisite permits, is eyeing a spring, early summer 2012 date. The brunch hotspot will be located at the corner of E. Ridgewood Ave. and Oak St.
