Earlier in the year, I took a stack of my Grandma's old recipes home and began blogging about them. I soon finsihed the stack, returned them to Grandma, and didn't bring any more home.
I feel a bit guilty for not continuing "Grandma's Recipe Box," so on my last visit to Grandma's I appropriated the enitre wooden antique box filled with aged, tangible, gastronomic treasures.
So let's get going! Grandma had three different recipes for Pignoli (or as she spelled "Pinnoli") Cookies.
Here's the first, which calls for Portuguese pignoli nuts, but I'm sure Spanish or Italian would be just fine.
