Sotto Zero's Lady Gaga Maple Walnut Cake!

I indulge my children probably a little more than I should, so when my six year old daughter requested (read: demanded) a Lady Gaga maple walnut cake for her birthday, I was determined to get one.

But where?  So, in proper 2011 social media fashion, I put the question to my Facebook friends. 

Giorgio Klinar, owner of Sotto Zero in North Arlington came to the rescue. Giorgio created a 10” Maple Walnut and Vanilla Bean gelato cake filled with walnuts and caramel!  It was divine!

Grilling: Wet & Dry

There are certain smells that are synonymous with summer.  For me, tanning lotion, chlorine, hot ashphault, and cut grass conjure memories of 90+ degree days. But the ultimate olfactory summer scent that sends my receptors swooning is barbeque.

There are few activities I enjoy more than sipping a warm weather libation, or a good, big Zin, and grilling some hunky summer cuts of meat, some fresh fish from the Farmers’ Market, or a few vegetables.

Weigh In! What's Your Favorite Boardwalk Food?

Heat is in full effect! So where do Jersey folks head? Down the shore of course!

In proper Jersey spirit, the Kettle Crew is cutting out and riding the Parkway South to Exit 6, Wildwood, NJ, where we'll be walking the boards, enjoying Morey's Pier, and noshing on boardwalk food. Most importantly we'll be visiting the finest Dog House in the land: Maui's Dog House!
