Inaugural Montclair Fall Food Classic to Benefit The Salvation Army

As part of the nationwide Food Day celebration, Friday October 26th will mark the inaugural Montclair Fall Food Classic to benefit The Salvation Army hot meal program at the Citadel in Montclair.

A seasonal light lunch will be served from a menu devised by two of NJ's finest restaurants—the Orange Squirrel and Osteria Giotto—with ingredients generously donated by Kings Food Markets as part of their Act Against Hunger initiative.

Photo Credit: Mano A VinoFriday evening, Nell and I wanted a place with a bar, good cocktails and small plates. The Orange Squirrel, where I've not been in a while, came right to mind. Their perfect little bar was quiet at 6:30 on this summer Friday night, though the dining room and bar was filled by the time we left. We had a great evening. Starting off with these great cocktails.
