This just in from Montclair Patch: Mexicali Rose has closed it's doors.

The news of the closing doesn't come as much of a shock to locals. Since last year, Mexicali Rose has been plagued by a temporary closing, a redecorating (at left) and a reopening. For more on the closing, visit Montclair Patch.
