Some foods are just meant to be together!  Bread and butter, meat and potatoes, cheese and crackers, turkey and Swiss, peppers and onions, the list goes on and on.   But chocolate and bacon? Well, maybe.

I just discovered Bacon Bites at Trend Cafe on Bloomfield Ave., in Montclair.  What are Bacon Bites? You've guessed it! Chocolate dipped strips of fried bacon.

I'm a big fan of sea salt and caramel, so I was curious and bought a box.  As I learned, Bacon Bites are made locally, and were developed by Chef Lawrence Rosenberg.
