Mothers Day of 2010 was the year I knew I loved food. It should be called the curse of a foodie, my mother, Melody Kettle, as most of you know is a known food blogger, she has formed me into the person that loves food and likes to blog about it.

Growing up with a food love was interesting!  First of all, there so many restaurants, and only so much time to dine out. Also, it takes some getting used to to NOT eat your food when it's served because you MUST get a photo of it.  I guess this shows how valuable the food is, and how valuable it is to go to the best restaurant.   And, that's my job.

All in all, I am taking over the Hot FromThe Kettle website. I have been wanting to do that for a while, but I finally got approval, and I know that this is what I want to do. My mom, Melody Kettle, ran this website before the MFWF (Montclair Food And Wine Festival) to just review food and interview chefs. Then, came the Montclair Food And Wine Festival and that made this website not the first priority.  But then, Melody retired from the MFWF, and became a realtor.  So, she will not be blogging food, but I will. I still want to keep the foodie part  of the Kettle family.
