Team HFTK Offering Up Terrific Tailgates This Friday at Kings Cooking Studio

by Melody Kettle

Team Hot From The Kettle has partnered with Kings Cooking Studios in Short Hills NJ to bring some of our favourite dishes and treats to our friends and fans. The first class is Terrific Tailgates this Friday 12 October 2012.

Tailgating is a fall classic. Learn how to impress your fellow sports fans at all the big games this fall with revamped tailgating treats that go above and beyond the staid and expected burgers, dogs and chili. Surprise your friends and family with spicy-sweet chili, Asian meatballs, tempt them with mini BLT ’s on easy homemade biscuits and celebrate the big win with mulled cider and a salty sweet pecan brittle that’ll knock their socks off.

Elizabeth Starnes, @elizbeth_palmerThe voluntary participation class is being presented by Elizabeth Palmer Starnes and John Lee, of Hot From The Kettle. Class starts at 6:30 and runs to 9:30.

Besides the tastebud tantalizers listed above, Elizabeth and John will take questions and demonstrate wherever possible culinary techniques. So, if you have always wanted to know how to perfectly chop an onion with ease but were afraid to ask, one of us will be glad to show you as the other is sauteeing, or stirring, or grabbing something from the oven. The discussions are a part of the fun and learning experience and greatly encouraged.John Lee, @johnleesandiego
