2012 was a whirlwind at Olive That & More!, opening their doors in late summer, introducing the concept, and preparing for the holidays, time just flew by and whoops, it's 2013!
Most resolutions begin to fade by the middle of January, so its time to keep everyone inspired. Olive That and More has invited Hot From The Kettle's John Lee (that's me) to demonstrate simple techniques that can be used to create healthy snack options incorporating flavored & infused olive oils and balsamic vinegars.
John Lee attended his first formal Olive Oil tasting 16 years ago in Mission Valley where he discovered he was partial to North African and Greek Olive Oils. Since then, he's made Olive Oil a major player in his kitchen including dessert recipes. About 5 years ago a last minute cancellation gave John the opportunity to cover and olive oil tasting and he hasn't stopped talking about the stuff since.
We will also be featuring our newest discovery, the Spoonk Mat, based on the principles of acupressure and shiatsu massage!
