The event is the brainchild of two Montclair Salvation Army volunteers: Caroline Clarke and Lisa Davies (of who, with winter just around the corner, decided it would be a good way to raise funds to replenish the food supplies that feed Montclair's hungry every week.

Said Lisa: “Food Day provides the ideal opportunity to highlight and celebrate the good work that The Salvation Army does week in, week out in our community, feeding the hungry and homeless”.

Chefs Robert Pantusa (Osteria Giotto) and Francesco Palmieri (Orange Squirrel) were both “delighted” to be involved and contribute their gorgeous seasonal fare.
